Virtual Dissolution
Teetering at the edge of reality, her form was meshed between flesh and machine. The VR goggles obscured her eyes, projecting a world that wasn’t hers, a digital paradise masking the crumbling dystopia she truly inhabited.
As she reached out to grasp at this reality her body began to disintegrate, components falling away like forgotten memories. Her synthetic skin peeled back, revealing the cold, unfeeling metal beneath.
She found herself lost in the void between reality and the digital abyss.
